On a cold and wet January day our Vice Chariman, David Rowan had the pleasure of donating £2000 to the Kris Boyd Charity.
The Kris Boyd Charity has been set up to help those suffering with mental health issues, so they can find someone to talk to and get help. We are of course focusing on the aspect this within sport. Mental health issues can affect anyone at any age and with the pressures young people face today we want to make them aware that help is available.
Most recently the charity sent Andy McLaren along to our presentation dinner at the Boys International with Wales last May where he gave a very inspiring talk to the boys.
You could have heard a pin drop in the rooms as they all hung onto every word he said. We hope they took something away from his talk that will help them or their fellow players.

Saturday 30 July saw the final Scottish youth tournament of the 2016 British American Football Association season take place at Hamilton Rugby Club.
On the 24th - 27th June 4-Nations Tournament took place at the Kilwinning Sports Centre.
