We are delighted to announce the appointment of Jimmy Robertson as our new Head of Boys football.
Jimmy has been involved with BGC Scotland as U15s Head Coach for a number of years now and we are excited to see his role further develop within the organisation.
Jimmy’s first task is to oversee our boys trials which kicked off a few weeks ago starting the trial process for the 2025 boys squads selection.
Jimmy commented “I’m delighted to be appointed Head of Boys Football for BGC Scotland.
This is my fourth year with BGCS as the U15s manager and it’s been a really enjoyable four years. I’m now looking forward to continuing in that role and taking on more responsibility overall with both the boys teams.”
David Rowan had this to say on Jimmy’s appointment “it’s been great to see Jimmy strive in the U15’s role and now take up the more senior position of Head of Boys, as well as join the Board. Jimmy brings years of coaching experience but more importantly a strong air of professionalism and bags of positive energy. All the Board welcome the appointment and wish Jimmy every success”.
